Harry Morgan Leaves For His Heavenly Abode!

Things are impermanent within this seemingly permanent world! And sadly, this universal principle bas brought us another great loss to live with.

Harry Morgan, best known for rendering the role of Bill Gannon on DRANET, which he reprised in his one-off voice act for The Simpsons, has left for his heavily abode.

He took his last breath at the age of 96, leaving behind an inspiring life-history of creative abundances.

He was an actor of immense dedication, and somehow always seemed to know the need of the hour, with the power of intuition, working at the back of his mind.

No wonder, he is bracketed among ‘the born stars’!

With notable appearances in several seminal TV shows and crowd-pulling movies, he made his presence felt everywhere.

As an actor, he made the period between the 1940s and 1990s his own, with an enviable streak of impressive performances.

Probably, he’ll be most remembered for the way he eternalized the character of Colonel Sherman T. Potter on M*A*S*H.

And how can we forget his guest roles in ‘Grace Under The Fire’ and ‘3rd Rock From The Sun’, for they speak of the man’s sublime ability to overshadow others right from the word go.

Moreover, his one-off foray into the world of The Simpsons episodes certainly left the viewers begging for more.

Personally, I cannot put his rock-solid performance on the blood-curdling NIGHT GALLERY series, out of my mind.

And, of course, his role in the 1980s avatar of The Twilight Zone is still etched in my memory.

Without even an ounce of doubt, he was a star to be reckoned with and his sudden absence will be felt by the film fraternity.

He has left behind a rich-legacy, and it would be nothing less than a miracle, if a man with unique qualities like him, descends onto earth again.

My heartfelt condolences go to his bereaved family.

May his soul rest in peace!

Lets Get Politically Inept With Homer Simpson!

Well, we really don’t need to do this as the Homers are smart enough to do everything alone. Here I’m talking about the title of the Simpsons season 23 episode 10, so sit tight and catch the spoilers now!

The upcoming episode will turn Homer into an online sensation. Homer makes a serious confession on whatever happens with him at the airport and this turns him into an enormously famous man. This newly acquired fame makes him Glenn Beck-like pundit of politics.

Later on, you will see he gets the show named ‘Gut Check with Homer Simpson’. Buckle up your seatbelts and get ready to watch Gut Check TV show with Homer Simpson.

Wow! It seems that the New Year is going to bring ultimate happiness for the Simpsons.

On the other hand, Ted Nugent gets a chance to appear as the candidate for the ongoing presidential elections. He is supporting the Republican Party. To become the first choice among other candidates, he persuades Homer to support him through his politics driven show.

What a coincidence? It seems that both of them get these new opportunities purposely.

In addition to all this, Homer also leads the ‘Gravy Boat’ movement. Well, I really have no clue regarding this movement but it seems that it is going to unfurl a few more opportunities for him.

I’m sure you know that media and talk shows create and destroy people and their images, similarly, Homer gets a chance to select his favorite candidate and everyone believes that he can easily tell, who should run the government against Obama in 2012. Well, here I don’t want to give any personal comment as it is completely about our respectful President (Obama), who runs our government smoothly.

Coming back to Homer, I just want to say go ahead Homer do whatever you want to, your stars have been supporting you!

When Marge Would Learn A Few Cooking Tips From The Man Himself!

Marge Simpson has often been stereotyped as a housewife, on this anime series.

As the matriarch of the Simpsons family, she tries to fulfill the duties and responsibilities to the best of her abilities.

I guess we adore her for that.

I know this is my reason to watch The Simpsons online.

I love Marge!

This time around, it would be bit tough for Marge, as she would be learning a few tips on cooking, from none other than Gordon Ramsay!

Hope she doesn’t get to hear the f-word!

And what if she does!

Would she break into tears, in her usual way?

All this seems to convey the message, that one should not miss out on the download of this segment, or else they’ll not be a part of all that fun!

But hang on!

It won’t be restricted to Gordon Ramsay alone; giving him company would be Anthony Bourdain and Mario Batali.

Guess this family owes a lot to food, or at least keeps munching all the time, because the upcoming part would also showcase Marge, Bart and Lisa going head-on for a food blog as well.

A food blog and that much keenness to learn a few culinary delicacies?

Is a food chain on their mind?

You never know!

This family is simply unpredictable and can go to any extent in fulfilling their wacky wishes. After all, the real intention of the plot is to satirize whatever is construing in the milieu.

Let’s see how well Marge gets along with the animated Gordon Ramsay, for he’s the man I’m afraid of!

His foul language is something one should watch out for, because that comes unabatedly, like arrows being released from the bow of a master archer!

Stretching Their Legs That Way!

Ever wondered why everyone belonging to res publica relishes the lampooning act as depicted in this anime series. Perhaps, amidst all that humor and instances, these characters with oval shapes and protruding eyes are endearing in their own unique ways.

Simpsons season 23 episode 9 would go several steps ahead, as it would take viewers to a sequence that resembles a sort of futuristic holiday.

And guess what, the kiddos, Bart, and Maggie would be seen donning roles that perhaps you and I never ever imagined. Yes, you must watch out for it, for no one would like to miss the last batch of the current season.

Titled Holidays of Future Passed, this installment is due to be aired on December 11, 2011.
So ladies and gentlemen, let’s call for a standing ovation for Bart, the dad (alas! a deadbeat one!), putting up at Springfield Elementary.

Before you faint with those spiraling thoughts causing a real hurricane, here’s the explanation that Springfield Elementary has transformed into a residential area from being a school.
Wondering about the fate of Principal Skinner?

Well, I guess he had struggled much, as far as running the school is concerned. Thus, in this futuristic holiday, he would be the landlord of this complex at Springfield Elementary.

Hang on if you are finding it hard to swallow, there’s more to it.

Our beloved Maggie is expecting a baby! Yes, the little girl with a nipple in her mouth has turned into a lady, standing on the door of motherhood. At a congregation where members of the Simpsons family have come together, Maggie suddenly feels the pangs of labor pain.

Kids do really grow fast, but have they matured as well? That’s a vital question in case of this dysfunctional family. No prize for the answer this time!

Nancy Cartwright Those impromptu wonders!

‘Bartmania’ is not that grimacing. In fact, it has emerged as another contributing factor that adds on to the fun element of the anime series.

Perpetual craving for Simpsons download is not a psychosomatic disorder, rather a trait you acquire in due course of time.

Aha! That wasn’t a result of the Pavlov’s experiment, eh! Come on, we are humans!

But when I mention the voice artist, Nancy Cartwright, you need to watch out for all those words spilled by the lady!

Recently, we heard about the tale related to the famous catchphrase, ‘Eat my shorts!’

What? Yeah, every catchphrase has a story of its own, and in case of Bart the artist, Nancy made sure that no compromises are made when it comes to     entertainment.

Though it’s nothing more than an ad-lib thing, it draws its origin from the days when Ms. Cartwright had a band of her own at school and the respective catchphrase popped out one fine day on its own only to become a hymn thereafter!

As the writers had a good time with that, they thought why not offer it to their audience as well. And the rest, as they say, is history!

Well, the entire scene certainly doesn’t end with that as Nancy terms this as the ‘give and take relationship’ between the actor and writer!

Was that an example of symbiosis?

Well, we certainly don’t mind as the anime drama seems to grow even more interesting than ever before.

A pertinent question jerking around is if monetary aspect is also attached to that association! I mean, eco-zone has its defined set of norms, you see!

Thumbs up to those impromptu wonders; they do act as an elixir that enlightens our lives for the better!

Homer Evolves As A Loner!

Homer finally managed to prove his skills to the world, when he came out with his fictional novel, exclusively for tweens.

Well, we understand that a creator has to often give in to a lot of pressure from a highly commercial world; but we also understand and acknowledge that at the end of the day, it all depends on the intensity of the circumstances sandwiching the creator.

He might not want to compromise on his creativity and his output at all!

Homer reflects similar traits of a creator, who turns unhappy the very moment he is informed of changes in the structure of his heart-felt novel.

It was difficult for even Lisa to keep her mouth shut and watch all that was dealt out to Homer, for all his efforts, by the publisher.

The events disturb Lisa, and inject a lot of curiosity into her, to unravel the secret mechanisms of the publishing industry.

To her horror, she comes face-to-face with the hard realities of this industry that compels her to arrive at a decision, to come up with her novel, all by herself!

Simpsons season 23 episode 7 will see a depressed Homer, giving in to worldly pressures, by accepting the job of an accounts executive for Mr. Burns, with an advertising professional, as his mentor.

Though, it seems Homer is trying his very best to divert his mind from all that happened at the publishing house, he isn’t quite able to mentally get rid of the entire incident, so soon.

After all that happened, we will see Homer, losing interest in his family and relations, and evolve as an absolute loner.

The effects of the same incident on Bart are terrible, as he loses interest in fictional novels, altogether.

On the other hand, Simpsons season 23 episode 8 can expect the introduction of Annie, a brand new agent into Krusty, the clown’s life.

Julie Kavner Inspiration For A Portrait!

Kavner is a typical momma: caring, understanding and bearing with the tantrums of her hubby and kiddos!

But that certainly doesn’t make Marge Simpson, the character Kavner lent her voice to, any less unique; she continues to rule our hearts anyway!

The array of utterly affable characters makes it a compulsion for each and everyone to go for a Simpsons download and catch up with this amazing anime series!

One always needs to watch out for the theme of its successive installments that aim to lampoon the various aspects of issues that mark the canvass of our society!

Now, we have come across this good news that Kavner has turned out to be an inspiration for a portrait!

Details of this buzz go something like this - actors hailing from the one-act comedy, Relatively Speaking, by Ethan Coen, Elaine May and Woody Allen, have traipsed off the drawings by Ken Fallin.

In case you thought they are real life-sized beauteous portraits, let me clarify that they are caricatures indeed!

Come on guys, nothing titillates more than humor; and unintended pun is always welcome!

Coming to this caricature, all the five women in it look amazingly comic, and laughter is definitely guaranteed. There couldn’t have been a better portrayal of Ms. Kevner, considering the image of Marge is mind.

Well, good job Ms. Kavner!

Even Mrs. Simpson would be basking in the glory, as she is finally able to come out of that stereotyped image and make a dent indeed!

A Slice Of The Complex Corporate Pizza For Lisa!

Lisa is still a novice to the ‘tween lit’ industry. Well, there wasn’t any direction, delivered in the open, from the creators regarding this, except for Lisa’s recent discovery that cast her character in a similar light.

Till now, she wasn’t exposed to the ‘lethal strategy pizzas’ that are cooked pretty often in the corporate world. They are carefully cooked by highly qualified professionals, using all their expertise and wits so that the competitors vanish from competition.

When she comes face-to-face with some startling revelations about the ‘tween lit’ industry and its fantasy characters, that she had been worshiping all her life, we can watch her getting caught on the wrong foot with her first taste of the corporate pizza.

Simpsons season 23 episode 5 has Lisa experiencing one of the worst excursions of her life, and from trailers of the upcoming segment, we guess some more trouble is awaiting her in the near future.

Simpsons season 23 episode 6 sees Homer, the head of the family, happy at the turn of events. He assumes it as the perfect moment to pep up the team’s crushed morale, and get on with writing their new tween lit novel. We will catch him getting his team ready to work along the fantasy exponent, Neil Gaiman. He would be adding professionalism to the novel, something that would certainly push them to fame in no time.

The team spins magic at the Springfield Book Fair. Much to their surprise, they find the corporate world doing away with their work even before they could react.

They receive copies of their work, well in advance, along with the understanding that on the corporate level, writing was big business- pizza that they are yet to taste.

Someone Is Eyeing Homer’s Job!

Ok. So he is lackadaisical in approach towards work, but then, this is what his persona is all about!

In fact, it’s through these idiosyncratic ways that he manages to lampoon at the system, you may like it, abhor it, or simply laugh your heart out, but that’s how our beloved protagonist, Homer Simpson is like!

Tune in to Simpsons season 23 episode 4 once it is aired, and catch up with the man yet again, who would be encountering a precarious situation this time!

This upcoming batch will make for an interesting watch, as Homer’s new assistant Roz (voiced by Jane Lynch) would try and snag her superior’s job!

Is Homer’s job in danger? At least, it seems so at the very outset of it!

Well, Roz seems to be a wily character, who would give Homer a tough time indeed!

Titled ‘Replaceable You’, this installment is due to be aired on November 6, 2011.

In an almost atrociously wily way, Roz, by all means, would initially try to impress Homer and then spoil things, thereby putting his position at stake and replacing him at the end of it!

Poor chap! I must admit that he needs to be on his guard before Roz turns out to be a bigger menace than he can even imagine!

Seems like creators are in a mood to add some realistic notions to the show, for such ‘office politics’ has become an inherent part of many organizations these days!

Now The Yellow Family To Have Their Own Channel!

This family and their eccentricities have tickled us so affably that life seems incomplete without them!

For us, Homer Simpson and his wacky family members are not mere characters that we see around us, which is one reason why the show has gone down so very well with the gentry.

Tune in to Simpsons episodes and catch up with Homer, his wife, and the couple’s three kids that go about life in their own ways; their acts appear weird yet are perfectly justified, when looked at from their perspective.

Recently, the Chief Operating Officer of the Fox Channel, Chase Carey, sent flutters across by announcing that the Simpsons household could harp on to the route of a brand new channel in near future!

Wow! I’m sure that exclamation might have come naturally to you too.

If that happens, I will quit my job, err, not quit, but go on a long sabbatical to sit at home and enjoy my favorite satirical cartoon series whole day long!

However, the bright prospect of seeing the yellow family via a new channel is marred by certain ambiguities as well.

For instance, the show is still on air, it has not been shelved yet and there is this intricate maze of syndication deals that need to be sorted out first.

Well, we do hope that Mr. Chase finds a way out soon, as the channel has the potential of shooting the revenues of his corporation like anything!

The very idea of having Simpsons’ rant quivering all around, 24×7, seems to be very appealing to me.

That gives me inkling if I’m going to turn into a bizarre ‘Simpson-phillic’; no, it’s not as eerie as you suppose it to be!
