Harry Morgan Leaves For His Heavenly Abode!
Things are impermanent within this seemingly permanent world! And sadly, this universal principle bas brought us another great loss to live with.

Harry Morgan, best known for rendering the role of Bill Gannon on DRANET, which he reprised in his one-off voice act for The Simpsons, has left for his heavily abode.
He took his last breath at the age of 96, leaving behind an inspiring life-history of creative abundances.
He was an actor of immense dedication, and somehow always seemed to know the need of the hour, with the power of intuition, working at the back of his mind.
No wonder, he is bracketed among ‘the born stars’!
With notable appearances in several seminal TV shows and crowd-pulling movies, he made his presence felt everywhere.
As an actor, he made the period between the 1940s and 1990s his own, with an enviable streak of impressive performances.
Probably, he’ll be most remembered for the way he eternalized the character of Colonel Sherman T. Potter on M*A*S*H.
And how can we forget his guest roles in ‘Grace Under The Fire’ and ‘3rd Rock From The Sun’, for they speak of the man’s sublime ability to overshadow others right from the word go.
Moreover, his one-off foray into the world of The Simpsons episodes certainly left the viewers begging for more.
Personally, I cannot put his rock-solid performance on the blood-curdling NIGHT GALLERY series, out of my mind.
And, of course, his role in the 1980s avatar of The Twilight Zone is still etched in my memory.
Without even an ounce of doubt, he was a star to be reckoned with and his sudden absence will be felt by the film fraternity.
He has left behind a rich-legacy, and it would be nothing less than a miracle, if a man with unique qualities like him, descends onto earth again.
My heartfelt condolences go to his bereaved family.
May his soul rest in peace!
