Julie Kavner took birth in Los Angeles, California. Her mother was named Rose, a family counselor, and her father David Kavner, was a furniture manufacturer. She grew up in Southern California. She joined Beverly Hills High School. She started studying theater there and earned her graduation from San Diego State University in 1971. In 1984, she gave birth to her first daughter.

In 1975, Julie got an Emmy nomination for her excellent performance on ‘The Girl Who Couldn’t Lose’, a daytime special. She’s among the few actors who join Woody Allen movies time to time. She is also seen portraying recurring characters on innumerous TV shows and films etc. On the TV show ‘Rhoda’, Julie portrayed Brenda Morgenstern. She next decided to work on movies and her notable movie appearances are on ‘Radio Days’ ‘New York Stories’ , ‘Alice’, ‘Shadows and Fog’ , ‘Hannah and Her Sisters’ ‘Deconstructing Harry’

Julie Kavner’s next appearance was on ‘Awakenings’, ‘Revenge of the Stepford Wives’, and the 1992 Nora Ephron comedy drama ‘This Is My Life’. After ‘This is My Life’, Julie has decided to work on supporting roles and as a voice over. Very recently, she was seen in ‘Click’, portraying Adam Sandler’s mother. Julie also appeared on ‘Tracey Takes On’.

The lady has also played under Burt Reynolds’ direction in ‘Two for the Seesaw’. In Canada, she made an appearance in ‘It Had To Be You’.

Julie is an important part of ‘The Simpsons’ star cast. Kavner gave her voice to Marge Simpson, Patty Bouvier, Selma Bouvier, Jacqueline Ingrid “Jackie” Bouvier and Gladys Bouvier. She also performed Marge’s voice on ‘Inside the Actor’s Studio’.

Her other notable acting credits include ‘Revenge of the Stepford Wives’, ‘National Lampoon Goes to the Movies’, ‘Bad Medicine’, ‘Surrender’, New York Stories’, Alice’, ‘Shadows and Fog’, ‘This is My Life’, ‘I’ll Do Anything’, ‘Dr. Dolittle’, ‘A Walk on the Moon’, ‘Someone Like You’, and ‘Click’ etc.
