The Simpsons Season 19

‘The Simpsons’ returned with season 19 on September-23-2007 with the season opener entitled ‘He Loves to Fly and He D’ohs’. In the beginning of the season we saw that Homer saved Mr. Burns from drowning and in return Mr. Burns invited him to a dinner and also offered him a flight on his corporate jet. Depressing him was the fact that he’d never get a chance to fly in such an elaborate plane again so Marge had to hire a personal life coach ‘Colby Kraus’ to help him out. Second episode of season was entitled ‘Homer of Seville’ in which Homer landed in hospital after receiving an injury in his back. Doctor informed him that he had beautiful opera voice but he could sing while lying on his back. Very soon, Homer got hired by Mr. Burns to sing the leading role in ‘La bohème’ and became a well-known celebrity. A throng of crazy fans started following him, saving him and sending him to next trouble was Julia, an obsessive and dangerous stalker. Then was the episode entitled ‘”Midnight Towboy”. In this episode, we saw Homer working in the towing business after a tow truck driver, Louie, introduced him the joy of towing cars. Excess of the troubles by his towing made the residents of Springfield to plot revenge. Marge hired a counselor for Maggie. For Maggie, the idea worked well, but it sent Marge into depression. Then was the episode entitled ‘I Don’t Wanna Know Why the Caged Bird Sings’. We saw that Marge was waiting in the queue at the bank and met Dwight, who later robbed the bank. Marge convinced him to turn himself in, promising that she’d visit him in jail. Under the persuasion of Homer Marge did not keep her promise and it made Dwight to escape from the jail. After stalking her, he kidnapped her. Next to it was the episode entitled ‘Treehouse of Horror XVIII’. Sixth episode of season was entitled ‘Little Orphan Millie’ in which we saw that Kirk and Luann went on a honeymoon cruise. They fell into the sea and everyone started presuming that they’re dead. Milhouse, after the death of his parents, decided to face life strongly and his attitude helped him to become a popular figure. Homer didn’t remember the color of Marge’s eyes and it was enough to send him into trouble.

Then was the episode entitled ‘Husbands and Knives”. Here we saw that Marge started a new woman-only-gym and becomes a highly successful woman. Coolsville, a new comic book shop put Comic Book Guy out of business. Next we watched the episode entitled ‘Funeral for a Fiend”. The entire Simpson family went to a rib restaurant advertisement and came to know that Sideshow Bob tried to kill them. Police captured Bob and put him on trial. It was shown that Bob had died and his brother invited Bart to pay homage to Bob. At the end, Bart came to know that it all was a very plan of Bob’s family to kill him. Then was the episode entitled “Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind”. Homer found himself in the snow with no memory of what happened last night. After he arrived home, he came to know that all his family members were missing. Along with Moe and Frink’s help, he tried to piece together his memory. The episode was entitled ‘E Pluribus Wiggum” in which Homer burnt down ‘Springfield’s fast-food restaurants. Quimby made Springfield’s primary election the first in the country and Ralph Wiggum won the election. Next episode was entitled ‘That 90’s Show’ in which Homer recounting the story of how he gave up his dreams of being a musician so that Marge could attend Springfield University. Circumstances led Homer to form the first grunge band called Sadgasm. Then we watched the episode ‘Love, Springfieldian Style”. It was the Valentine’s Day and the Simpson family got stuck in a tunnel. Everyone started passing his/her time with his/her likings. Then came the episode entitled “The Debarted”. In this episode, we met a new kid named Donny. His arrival made Bart very glad and he’s very happy to get an ultimate partner for his pranks. Homer got attached to a new loaner vehicle. Next episode in row was “Dial ‘N’ for Nerder”. Homer was on dieting and after he started cheating, Marge hired a TV show to keep track of his diet. Bart and Lisa’s prank on Martin Prince backfired and they started believing that they had killed him. Next episode in row was “Smoke on the Daughter”. Here, we saw that Lisa encouraged Marge to become a ballerina meanwhile Homer found a snag in his jerky business.

Then came the episode ‘Papa Don’t Leech’. Next to it was “Apocalypse Cow”. Bart and Lisa saved a cow, Lou, and gave it to Mary, a farm girl. Her father mistakenly believed that the cow was for a dowry and a token of marriage. Ultimately, Homer and Marge had to step in to save Bart from this unwanted marriage agreement. Then came the episode entitled ‘”Any Given Sundance”. Lisa entered her hit documentary project into the Sundance Film Festival. Behind-the-scenes look embarrassed Homer. Bart and Marge. Then was the episode “Mona Leaves-a” in which Mona Simpson finally returned. When she accidentally and unexpectedly passed away, Homer started feeling guilty for not expressing his feelings to her. Later, he decided to fulfill her wishes by scattering her ashes on Lake Wastershare at Springfield Monument Park. Then we watched the episode “All About Lisa” in which Lisa became the new assistant at Krusty- The Clown and won Entertainer of the Year at the Springfield Media Awards. Bart and Homer started coin collecting.

Season was wrapped up on 5-18-2008 with the episode entitled ‘All About Lisa’.

Homer found himself out of the house without any memory of what happened last night. After returning home, he discovered that no one was there in house. With Moe and Prof. Frink’s help, Homer tried to collect the memories of what happened last night with him.
